ABOUT THE CLIENT AND PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Pacific Community VenturesBased in San Francisco, Pacific Community Ventures (PCV) creates jobs and economic opportunity in low income communities through the direct support of small businesses as well as by advocating for systemic change to increase investment in these vulnerable communities. With new branding and marketing materials, PCV needed a new website that emphasized brand recognition and also allowed them to easily manage their own content. Lacking the necessary cohesion to help users find information quickly and compel them to take action, the website required restructuring, intuitive navigation and updated content. With a new design and a compelling graphical interface, the new PCV site better emphasizes the brand and mission of PCV and compels donors to get involved. Through intuitive navigation, specific calls to action, a clear PCV brand and a simplified user experience, the new site redesign improved time on site, increased page views per visit and decreased the overall bounce rate.
